We appreciate you taking the time to consider the many benefits that orthodontics can provide you and your loved ones.
Braces are a prevalent part of American society. No longer are they just for children but adults use orthodontics to better themselves. An improved smile for a child means freedom from insecurities and confidence; for adults, an improved social life and perhaps the key to furthering their future. With orthodontics there is little discomfort or inconvenience. During treatment, appointments are efficient and require minimum time commitments.
This web site will answer many important questions you may have. Although we would like to be able to answer everything, it is impossible. Please feel free to call our office with additional questions or concerns.
Common Questions and Concerns
How Much Will It Cost?
While it is important to keep in mind the lifetime value that orthodontics offers, we know you may have specific questions involving expenses.
You may discover the investment is considerably lower than you ever thought. Many orthodontic problems require only limited treatment. The cost of treatment does vary depending on the severity of the issue. Dr. Bradford will be happy to discuss fees with you before beginning treatment. Keep in mind that many dental insurance plans now include orthodontic benefits for just a few dollars a month. This has helped offset the cost of treatment. In addition, our office offers payment plans to help meet individual financial needs.
How Long Will It Take?
There really is no answer the same for all cases. While no two smiles are alike, neither are two orthodontic treatment programs. Active treatment may take from 6 to 30 months depending on the severity of the problem, the age of the patient, and the degree of movement required, and patient compliance. Dr. Bradford has helped many patients with jaw deformities and dento-skeletal discrepancies to improve their overall facial balance.
What Can Be Done?
Dr. Bradford and staff will provide you with information via multimedia applications to improve your understanding of the orthodontic problem. We also have computerized imaging technology to enhance your understanding of esthetic orthodontic treatment goals.
In addition, we use the new OrthoTrac digital imaging system, cutting-edge technology that allows a patient to see how their results will typically look at their first visit. We also have available online demonstrations of your x rays, photographs and the Invisalign software that allows you to track your progress with the aligner system.
